ARMY ALLIANCE ANNUAL BREAKFAST - DEC 1
The Army Alliance will hold their Annual Breakfast Meeting on December 1, 8-10AM at the Richlin Ballroom, 1700 Van Bibber Rd, Edgewood. Our speaker, Sergeant Major of the Army (SMA) Dan Dailey, U.S. Army Retired, will address how our community can better support soldiers transitioning out of military service as well as how our community can support those who are serving or considering military service. National Operation Green Light
The State of Maryland is participating in the national Operation Green Light Initiative, a voluntary action to recognize and honor our country's veterans by going green! What does that mean? Our Government House (Governor's residence), the World Trade Center in Baltimore and the M&T Stadium will light up green in support of our veterans from November 7-13. Here is a link to Maryland's webpage for this initiative as we encourage others to get involved and go green! Please share in helping recognize this honorable and vital part of our community!
Harford County Seeks Photos to Honor Local Veterans
Harford County’s award-winning Photo Gallery of Honor is back this November to recognize veterans for their military service. The photo gallery will include veterans, living or deceased, and will be published every day this month in recognition of Veterans Day. Local veterans, and family members who want to honor them, are invited to submit a photo, preferably in uniform, and information about their service. Submission forms and instructions are posted on the county website, and photos will be posted on the veterans commission’s webpage and Facebook. Thanks for helping to support Harford’s veterans!
The AFCEA Aberdeen luncheon is scheduled for Nov 3, 1130 to 1330, at Water’s Edge Event Center in Belcamp. It will feature a TEM9 preview, with presentations from PEO C3T and the Network CFT. Click here to register today!
The AUSA MG Harry Greene Chapter and the Industrial Representatives Association (IRA) are banding together to offer a joint luncheon on Nov 8, 1130 to 1330, at Water’s Edge Event Center in Belcamp. The AFCEA Aberdeen Emerging Leaders and AUSA Young Professionals are co-hosting a FREE dual webinar series on the effective use of LinkedIn. Led by Ms. Annie Brock, President & CEO of the Leadership Transition Institute (LTI), this series will take place during two separate events. On Nov 9, 1700 – 1800, sign on to Zoom for a session on Advanced Networking Techniques. Then come back the following week, Nov 16, 1700 – 1800, for a follow-up on Building a Better LinkedIn Profile. Harford County will host its annual resource fair for veterans and their families on Nov 12, 10AM to 1PM at the Bel Air Armory, 37 N. Main St, Bel Air. This free event will include VA claims and healthcare information, resources and discounts for veterans, a tasty free lunch, and drawings for exciting prizes sponsored by APGFCU.
