The Army Alliance will hold its Annual Breakfast Meeting on November 14th from 8AM to 10AM at the Richlin Ballroom, Edgewood. Come hear our panel, led by Lisa Swoboda (MD Dept of Commerce, Director of Military and Federal Affairs), address the Economics of a Defense Community. Learn just how APG impacts our state and local economies. The next AFCEA Aberdeen monthly luncheon will be October 30, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Water’s Edge Event Center in Belcamp, MD. The featured guest speaker for this event is Mr. John Willison, the Deputy to the Commanding General for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC). He assumed duties as the DtCG in October 2017 and he provides strategic direction for the organization and serves as a catalyst for research, development and engineering initiatives across the command. The 9th Annual SCRA / AFCEA Halloween Golf Tournament is coming soon! This year’s event will take place at Ruggles Golf Course on Thursday, October 31, 2019. The event includes a four-person scramble tournament, 50/50 raffle, mulligan cards, BBQ dinner, and awards ceremony after the tournament. SCRA / AFCEA will provide custom “putters” at each hole.
