The Army Alliance Annual Dinner will be held June 3, 2019, from 5:30 to 8:30PM at Water's Edge Events Center, 4687 Millennium Drive, Belcamp, MD, 21017.  We are pleased to announce that our speaker will be Maryland's LT Governor Boyd K. The Chesapeake Chapter of Sigma Xi – the Scientific Research Honor Society is holding its monthly meeting on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 1200 to 1300 at the Exton golf course clubhouse, Bldg. E1260, on APG South.  We invite interested APG-area scientists and engineers to attend. The Northern Chesapeake West Point Society (NCWPS) is hosting our first #GRADTALK event focused on financial planning on April 24, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Top of the Bay, 30 Plum Point Loop, APG. This session will include professional financial planners who will provide presentations and take questions from participants. The APG Discovery Week Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) will be held April 30, to May 2, 2019.  The APBI will describe potential future contracting opportunities for mission areas that focus on: command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; research and development; test and evaluation; chemical and biological defense; and APG Garrison.  All interested parties must register to attend using this linked website.

The C5ISR Hall of Fame Dinner will be held on April 30 and an Induction Ceremony will be held on May 1. This year's class includes two former commanding generals, a deputy to the commanding general, a chief counsel, and a director of one of CECOM's subordinate commands.  Click this LINK to RSVP for the Hall of Fame Dinner and Ceremony.  The link will take you to the APG Discovery Week registration site where you can register for Hall of Fame events.

The CCDC Chemical Biological Center is hosting its Gas Mask Dash on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at CAPA Field, Edgewood Area of APG.  This 5K race/ 2-mile fun walk is open to the publicSign up online by April 30, 2019 to be guaranteed a shirt.  Entry fees are $20 until April 30th at 6pm, and $25 thereafter (to include race day).  Questions, please contact Linda Flint at Linda.Flint.civ@mail.mil.  The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.

The APG Gold Star Spouses Afternoon Tea and Living Legacy Forest memorial unveiling will be held on Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at Top of the Bay at APG.  Please consider attending and let our Gold Star families know how much this community supports them and honors their sacrifice.  Through personal donations and corporate contributions none of the Gold Star families pay for their meals.  With around 80 family members at $35, it's approximately $2,800 that is needed.  To purchase tickets to the event, donate a meal, or to offer a larger donation, CLICK HERE.  Just click on 'tickets' and the three options appear.  

The Freestate Golf Outing will be held on May 23, 2019 at APG Ruggles Golf Course with a shotgun start at 9AM.  The goal for this event is to raise enough funds to design and build a state-of-the-art computer laboratory for Freestate Cadets.  The Freestate Academy is a tuition-free program which offers at-risk adolescents (16 to 18 years old) an opportunity to change their future, for the better by providing the skills, education and self-discipline needed to become responsible, productive citizens.  CLICK HERE to register.

The 2nd Annual Young AFCEAN Bowling Bash has been moved to June 11, due to ongoing construction at Brewner Lanes. Come join us now on Tuesday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the APG Bowling Center.  Tickets are $25 each in advance and include 2 Games, Shoe Rental, Light Food, a T-Shirt, and giveaways!  Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $30 each (Cash only).  Proceeds from the event will be given to the Boys and Girls Club of Harford and Cecil County.
