The Freestate ChalleNGe Academy Golf Tournament will be held May 24, 2018 at Ruggles Golf Course, APG.  Funds raised by this event will be used to design and build a state-of-the art computer laboratory for Freestate Cadets which will add to vocational training program options and better prepare them for potential employment opportunities in a digital world.  Click HERE for information and sponsorship opportunities.

A Dedication Ceremony and unveiling of the newest Gold Star Families Memorial Monument (GSFMM) will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Concord Point Lighthouse & Park , 700 Concord Street, Havre de Grace , MD 21078.  WWII Medal of Honor recipient Hershel Woody Williams will be on deck and looks forward to meeting the citizens of Harford County.  This event is FREE.  Please RSVP here, so that the event planners will have a headcount.

Northeast MD Tech Council (NMTC) Disruptive Tech Summit 2.1, The Onslaught of the Internet of Everything (Parallels the Army's Internet of Battlefield Things, IoBT) focuses on Surveillance, Sensors, Facial Recognition, and Spyware.  The summit will be held June 20, 2018, 12:00-4:30PM, Towson University in NE MD, 501 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air MD.   Click HERE to register. The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC- APG) Source Selection Support Center of Excellence (S3CoE) will host a Symposium entitled:  Past Performance Evaluations on June 27, 2018 at APG, MD.  The symposium will provide APG’s Industry partners with an understanding of how past performance is evaluated and its relevance to the Source Selection Decision.  RSVP to usarmy.apg.acc.mbx.acc-apg-s3coe@mail.mil no later than May 31, 2018. The AFCEA Aberdeen Annual Golf Tournament will take place on June 27, 2018, at Ruggles Golf Course, APG, MD. This event includes a 4-person scramble, BBQ lunch, and an awards reception following the tournament. Check-in and tee assignments begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.  All proceeds from this fundraiser support the  AFCEA Education program, which provides grants and scholarships to STEM students and educators in the local community.
